Request removal of an intimate image.
If an intimate photo or video of you was shared on Sideyard without your consent, you can ask us to remove it. This includes realistic digitally created or altered images.
No Sideyard account neededWhat to include
You can write for yourself or as an authorized representative of the person depicted. Use the four points below; you do not need a special form.
Your signature
Add your physical or electronic signature. Typing your name as your signature is an option. If you are acting for someone else, identify them and state that you are authorized to act for them.
Where to find the content
Identify the photo or video and give enough information to locate it on Sideyard: a link or item reference, or details such as the space, conversation, sender and approximate date. If you do not have a link, describe what you know. You do not need to join a space or locate every copy.
A good-faith nonconsent statement
State that the person depicted believes in good faith that the identified intimate content was shared without their consent. Include relevant context about the lack of consent.
A way to contact you
Provide an email address or another suitable contact for you or the authorized representative. A reply email address is enough; a phone number or postal address is not required.
Do not attach or forward intimate images or videos, identity documents, passwords or sign-in codes. Give only the information needed to identify the content and handle your request.
Use this email outline
You can copy these prompts into your own email and replace the brackets. Read your request before sending it.

What happens next
For a valid request covered by the US TAKE IT DOWN Act, we must remove the identified content and make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after receiving the valid request. You do not have to report those copies separately.
We review the information you provide and may ask for missing details needed to locate the content or assess the request. A later review of a request that was already complete does not restart its receipt time. We will use your reply contact to provide a case reference and explain the outcome or any information still needed.
The ordinary seven-calendar-day safety-review aim does not replace this applicable 48-hour deadline. Requests outside the Act's scope can still be considered under our community rules.
Your information and safety
Send only what is needed. Your request is handled through the company support channel for review and follow-up. Do not use a shared-space message to send private contact details or intimate files. See our privacy policy for how information is handled.
Sideyard is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
